The Rope Clutch is manufactured from high-grade plastic and aluminium, and it has a true clutch mechanism that can easily be released under heavy loads. Lines can be drawn through the clutch in the locked position as the line moves freely in the direction of pull and is restricted from returning by a spring-loaded cam mechanism. This robust unit will accept high loads with a minimum of rope wear. They are suitable for secure halyards and control lines on boats up to 30ft and for lighter applications on larger yachts.
