The MG Duff low profile zinc Anode with a non-reactive aluminium insert is designed for use on high-speed vessels. It serves as a sacrificial Anode to protect the vessel's metal components from corrosion in a process known as cathodic protection. The primary purpose of this Anode is to prevent galvanic corrosion, which occurs when different metals are in contact in a corrosive environment, such as saltwater. It is specifically designed for high-speed vessels, where corrosion protection is crucial due to the increased exposure to saltwater and other corrosive elements. The maximum length of this Anode is 72 inches (1828 mm), but it can be cut to suit specific requirements. Different hole centres and standard configurations are available, making it adaptable to various vessel designs and needs.
