• These battery boxes meet ABYC standard E-10 and U.S. Coast Guard Specification Number 183.420 as an OEM-installed battery hold-down system. Polypropylene construction for total acid resistance. Hold-down straps resist 350 lbs. of force, nearly four times the USCG requirement. Drop tested in temperatures ranging from -20°F to +120°F. Mounting hardware included. The Small battery box is suitable for smaller batteries like Series 16 and those used in jet skis and powered lawn and garden equipment. The standard battery box is a vented and non-vented battery box for standard size, Series 24 batteries (8-3/16 inch maximum battery block height, 10-1/8 inch maximum battery height with terminals). The Power Guard 27 battery box is for Series 27 batteries (8-1/2 inch maximum battery block height, 10-1/2 inch maximum battery height with terminals).
